We can all enjoy a good weekend brunch. Cocktails, delicious food... what's not to love? Here are some of our top picks for local restaurants with brunch offerings.
Radio Social is a great place for Sunday brunch. Their rotating specials are always a hit, and if you’re feeling up to it, book a lane to bowl before or after your meal. The kitchen director is Good Luck owner Chuck Cerankosky and the exotic menu and delicious cocktails (the Mimosas are great!) make Radio Social a top pick for us.
Menu highlights: Monte Cristo, Breakfast Slice
Mullers Cider House is another favorite for us. Their extensive selection of beers and hard ciders are great; and the atmosphere is fun. We love the location too; University Ave has a lot of great things to do after you hit brunch (George Eastman Museum and the Memorial Art Gallery are right down the road!)
Menu highlights: McLovin, Waffle Flight
Simply Crepes is a great restaurant with an all day menu. Their brunch is all handcrafted, and the crepes are a unique breakfast niche in Rochester. With three area locations (as well as one in Raleigh, NC), it's a great spot for brunch, and they're open almost daily (closed on Tuesdays).
Menu highlights: Boozy Coffee Flight, Chicken and "Waffles"
Brown Hound Downtown, located inside the Memorial Art Gallery, never fails to disappoint. Their ingredients are all fresh and expertly crafted. We love the live music on the weekends, and after brunch, you can check out the exhibits at the museum. The staff is always super friendly too!
Menu highlights: Biscuits and Gravy, Breakfast Burrito
The Waffle Factory, located in Webster, has every waffle you can imagine! No, really. With 56(!) different varieties, there's something for everyone. The French toast is delicious as well. We especially love the "Frothy" whipped coffees and fresh-squeezed OJ. The cozy cafe can get pretty busy, but it's definitely worth a trip if you're out in Webster.
Menu highlights: The Cinny waffle, Triple Berry Cheesecake waffle
